Angostura brand joins forces with Frucor Australia

Frucor has secured a long term brand licence to market, sell and distribute Angostura Lemon,Lime and Bitters RTD (ready to drink) in the Australian market. 

The Angostura brand is available in Australia in two distinct product formats and two different sales channels: Angostura Lemon, Lime and Bitters RTD (ready to drink)

The RTD format will be sold and distributed by Frucor Australia in the Grocery, Route and P&C channels. This recognises Frucor’s clear strength in marketing cold beverages and particularly our sales and distribution capability across these channels.

Angostura Aromatic Bitters in its small, brown, iconic 200ml bottle will continue to be sold by the island2island Beverage Company through the on premise channel including pubs, clubs and bars. island2island have very strong capability and presence in the on premise channel and market a portfolio of products including Angostura Aromatic Bitters and a range of rums and sprits. 

Angostura Aromatic Bitters is an absolute iconic brand in Australia. It is estimated that 100 million serves are consumed in Australia alone each year. Over many decades it has become universal in its availability in the on premise channel, and is unquestionably the authentic lemon lime and bitters.
