Rugby is the hot topic in New Zealand and around the world at the moment, and Frucor had their own afternoon of rugby when the Suntory Sungoliath team visited.

The team are sponsored by Frucor's owner company Suntory and recently won the All-Japan Championship. As a reward for their win they visited New Zealand to watch the All Blacks vs Japan game.

Despite the score of the game a Sungoliath team member, Hirotoki Onozawa, was the only Japanese team member to score a try in this game - so the Sungoliath's definitely had something to celebrate.

Prior to watching the game however the team, along with Coach Eddie Jones (ex-Wallabies Coach,) visited Frucor, for a cultural welcome followed by some touch rugby games.

Frucor team members had the opportunity to play alongside the champions and Mr Jones, which was a great experience for all involved.

Afterwards a good old Kiwi BBQ was enjoyed by all, and it was a great chance to mix with the Sungoliath team members.
