V involved in digital marketing competition in AU

Young digital marketers in Australia will be creating digital advertising campaigns for V as part of a nationwide competition.

 

The competition run by digital marketing event organisers, Ad:tech, aims to discover young digital marketing talent by inviting them to submit a digital campaign and this year Frucor was asked to be involved.

 

After Australian Marketing Manager - Digital for Frucor, Cathrine Dyer attended a digital brand summit held by Ad:Tech late last year she was approached by one of the Ad:Tech organisers to see if she and the V brand would be interested in being involved in the competition.

 

Frucor agreed to be part of it as the brand has a natural alignment with digital marketing being that it is most popular with the younger crowd.

 

Cathrine will part of the judging panel along with the Managing Director of Expedia. Entrants will be pitching to the ‘V, Powering Social Encounters' brief and their entries will be loaded to YouTube or SlideShare.

 

The winner of the competition will win return flights from Australia to either San Francisco or New York, two tickets to Ad:Tech San Fransico or New York and $1000 spending money.
