At the awards dinner in early 2013 Frucor was given the Gold Grocery Supplier Award. This award recognises our excellent service, NPD execution and support to the SPAR network.
New Zealand Direct Marketing Awards, 2013
It was a big night for Frucor at these awards with the V Motion Project taking home six awards. Gold - Innovation a Gold - Social Media and Viral, a Gold - Media and Channel Utilisation, a Gold - FMCG Industry, it was the winner for Best Digital Creative in Craft Category and finally it took home the Supreme Nexus Award!
Best Employer Australia, 2012
Our fantastic Australian business, with offices in every state across the country, have for the second year running been named an Aon Hewitt Best Employer. Jonathan Moss said in a recent press release “our products are dynamic and energetic, and our culture reflects that”. Congrats to the team.
Number one Oils Account team and Field team in Oils, NZ 2012
The Coalface Survey placed Frucor New Zealand’s Oil Account team and Field Sales team for the Oils channel at number one in the industry. This is the third year in a row for our account team, and second year for our field team. A fantastic achievement for the teams, it is always great to be recognised for their hard work and commitment to our customers.
Nargon (Grocery Retailers Association) Awards NZ, 2012
The Nargon awards usually see our Sales and Marketing teams filling up their awards cabinet, but in 2012 it was our Finance team who got the gold, winning the Best Invoicing and Paper Trail award. V Blue also took home the silver award for best new product.
Mountain Dew Skatepark a consistent winner, 2011/2012
The Mountain Dew Skate Pinball campaign won a Gold Award for Best Integrated Campaign at the International Digital Media Awards and runners up placing at the B&T Awards (Australian based marketing awards) ‘Campaign of the Year’ in December 2011.
In early 2012 the campaign won two more Gold awards for Best Customer Engagement Campaign and Best Art Direction at the New Zealand RSVP Awards (which recognise outstanding marketing campaigns that deliver a direct consumer response).
Then it won a renouned Cannes Lion in June 2012 receiving a bronze in the outdoor category section and silver in the cyber category of the Cannes Festival of Creativity awards.
Two months later the trophy cabinet had another addition when the campaign won the FMCG TVNZ Marketing award!
NZ Juice and Beverage Association Awards, 2011
Frucor and Simply Squeezed combined won six out of the 11 awards presented at the New Zealand Juice and Beverage Associate awards! The awards were judged by an independent panel representing food and packaging technologists, marketers, dieticians, sports personnel, media and consumers. Simply Squeezed Orange, Just Juice Orchard, Sugar Free V, V Iced Coffee and Fresh up Big Fizz were amongst the winners.
Supplier of the year and Beverage Supplier of the year to New Sunrise Group (AU), 2011
Frucor was named as the Supplier of the Year and Beverage Supplier of the year to the New Sunrise group. This is the second year in a row they were named Beverage Supplier of the Year. Frucor was complimented on it’s total category approach and retailers said that people from all layers of the Frucor business (from head office to reps) were a pleasure to deal with.
Aon Hewitt Best Employers, 2011
Frucor Beverages Australia and Frucor Beverages New Zealand have respectively been recognised as an Aon Hewitt Best Employers. Frucor was one of only two New Zealand organisations awarded Best Employer status by Aon Hewitt this year, and one of only nine organisations in Australia. This is a huge achievement for Frucor to have both the Australian and New Zealand businesses independently achieve this accreditation in the same year.
Coalface Survey Results, NZ 2011
The Coalface Survey placed Frucor New Zealand’s Oil Account team and Field Sales team for the Oils channel at number one in the industry. This is a first for the Oil Accounts team and a huge achievement as they were up against 43 suppliers who service the Oil channel. The Field team were placed in third place in 2009, second place in 2010 and are excited to have achieved that top potition for 2011.
Nexus/RSVP Awards (NZ), 2011
These awards are focused on repsonse driven advertising, the bigger response the better. This was the first time Frucor had attended the awards and had great success winning Gold for the V Pocket Rocket campaign in the ‘Consumer Engagement Category’ and silver for the Mountain Dew Code Red campaign in the ‘Sales Generation and Promotion’ Category.
Nargon Awards (NZ), 2010
Frucor is the proud winner of the silver award in the ‘Most Efficient Distributor’ category at the 2010 Nargon Supplier awards. The awards are voted on by members of the Grocery Retailers Association from across New Zealand. Members of the Grocery Retailers Association are owner/operators of retail grocery stores, from dairies to large supermarkets.
New Zealand EFFIE Awards, 2010
The V Rocket Man campaign was a huge success at these awards, winning not one but four awards! The 2009 campaign won gold in the prestigious ‘EFFIE FMCG’ category, it also won a silver in the ‘EFFIE Most Integrated Campaign’ category, another silver in the ‘EFFIE Return on Investment’ category and a bronze in the ‘EFFIE Best Use of PR/Experiential in a Marketing Campaign’ category.

Frucor was the most successful participant at these awards, run by the New Zealand Juice and Beverage Association. Frucor walked away with a massive eight awards: Best Smoothie (Simply Squeezed Feijoa), Best carbonated beverage (Fresh Up Big Fizz), Best diet drink (Just Juice Bubbles, Tropical Light), Best milk based drink (Chocolate Wave), Best orange juice (Arano Gisbourne Valencia), Best energy/lifestyle drink (GForce Apple and Black currant), Best new to market (Fresh Up Big Fizz, Feijoa), Youth Choice (Fresh Up Big Fizz, Feijoa).

The now infamous marketing team behind V did it again with their amazing V Rocket-man campaign that shot V Pocket Rockets in to the market. It was described as “the most ambitious extension for the brand in 10 years”.

This prestigious award was taken home again by the Frucor Marketing team behind V, for their efforts to launch V Pocket Rockets. The V Rocket-man campaign helped result in over 200,000 units of the product sold in its first five months, bringing the V share of the energy shot to 51% even though it was last to launch into the market.
Top Account Team (NZ), Oils Channel 2010
For the second year running the New Zealand Account team for the petrol industry (Shell, BP, Mobil Chevron and Fix) have been voted number one. The team were pitted against 42 suppliers and recieved a 91% in satisfaction, no other supplier has got over 90%!
Beverage Supplier of the Year, to the New Sunrise Group (AU) 2010
The Australian P & C team was given this award in recognition of the collaborative working relationship we have with NSG, not just in being the Category captain for Energy, but also the Beverage Captain in the way we do business to improve the overall Beverage Program that NSG rolls out to it’s members.

Frucor Australia won the Supplier of the Year Award for Beverages at the annual AACS Awards (Australian Association of Convenience Stores), highlighting our position as a key player in this sector.
Bronze Medal, Asia Pacific Media Effectiveness Awards 2009
Frucor’s Big ‘V’ monster truck campaign won bronze up against 1,000 entries from across the Asia Pacific region, giving the campaign international recognition for both its creativity and effectiveness.

This independent survey of the four major petrol groups (BP, Mobil, Shell and Caltex) ranked Frucor as the Number One account team out of 43 direct suppliers.

Luke Hawes was awarded ‘Most Outstanding Preferred Supplier - Sales Representative of the Year by New South Wales’s largest state-based petrol and convenience account, Metro Petroeum Group.

Grand Prix Award, Media Federation Awards 2008
Frucor’s V-Raw programme won both the beverages section and then the overall Grand Prix Award at Australia’s prestigious Media Federation Awards.

Australia’s 7 Eleven chain with annual sales of $1.1 billion awarded Frucor overall ‘Supplier of the Year’ as well as giving us their ‘Best for Consumer’ Award for our ‘V’ promotion.
